Here are some helpful guidelines so you can have an enjoyable experience!

  1. Days/Hours ~ See current info on our CONTACT PAGE.
  2. Bring from home ~ Picking containers (help us reduce/reuse/recycle, more details below) ~ optionally, a wagon to cart berries and supplies, water bottle, sunscreen, hats, close-toed shoes, kneeling pads, camera for photos
  3. Park in designated areas only ~ we cannot block the farm vehicles that are routinely going in and out of the fields & farm
  4. Check in at the tent/stand ~ before picking you need to know current field conditions and weigh your containers ~ More details below!
  5. Staying clean ~ we have a place for washing hands before and after picking, as well as port-a-potty 
  6. While you are picking ~ you are welcome to wander around the fields on paths already made, not through house and shop areas, steer clear of any moving tractors or atvs
  7. What you might see ~ you will most likely come across the owners' dogs, random wildlife and even insects like bees. For your safety, do not touch or climb on any equipment or something, we are not liable for injuries. 
  8. Check out in a timely manner ~ we know how easy it is to get lost in the joy of picking, but please come back early enough prior to closing to allow enough time to get you checked out.
  9. When weather is VERY HOT ~ We will close early on very hot (or slow) days, so check Facebook or call first if you don't want to take a scenic drive.
  10. Furry Friends & Food are not allowed ~ we cannot have them in the fields for various reasons and pets should not be left in hot cars, the parking area is in full sun.

FIELDS ON THE FARM:
Currently we have Blueberries, Blackberries and Marionberries and the different varieties of these are available at different times, as well as commercially picked.  So even though you may see a huge field of berries one day, they could be gone the next!  So, check back to our Facebook page and emails so you stay up to date on conditions.  You can also ask at check-in/check-out about how the fields are doing for the day/week.

TYPICAL AVAILABILITY:
Blueberries = Late June to end of August
Blackberries = July
Marionberries = July

PICKING CONTAINERS:
  • To help reduce/reuse/recycle and save time for us and you it would be nice if you brought from home containers or bags to pick your berries in. If you show up without (or have a preference), we do have buckets to loan out, though we have to wash them after every use. 
  • Once you bring a container from home and we weigh it for you, then it's pre-weighed for next time!  You could also bring gallon zipper bags to line the bucket if that is helpful.
  • The blackberries and marionberries will "melt" rather quickly on warm days, so best to have an airy/cardboard container for transport unless you want them juicy for jam or pie anyway.

25 cents = berry basket (compostable) OR clamshells
$1 = cardboard tray (recyclable)
$3 = cardboard half flat with baskets
$5 = cardboard full flat with baskets
